About Tatihou island:Located in the peninsula of the Cotentin, in Basse-Normandie, France, off the harbour of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue,
the island of Tatihou is a natural area of 28 ha, and becomes a peninsula at low tide.

Crossing from Saint Vaast La Hougues to the island of Tatihou:The crossing from the quays of St-Vaast-La-Hougue and Tatihou
can be made on foot (at low tide times of the tides) or by boat (at both high and low tide). There is approximately one boat each hour from 10am to 6pm every day. The crossing takes about 10 minutes (more about the crossing).
There will be a special boat for the conference (covers by the registration fees):
- The 30th June at 7 pm from the quay of Saint Vaast La Hougues to Tatihou.
- The 04th July at 8:30 am from Tatihou to Saint Vaast La Hougues.
Access to Saint Vaast La Hougues
By car: take the N13, direction Cherbourg. Parking on the quays at St-Vaast-La-Hougue.
By public transport: By train to Valognes, on the line Paris-Cherbourg. Then by regional bus from Valognes to St Vaast La Hougues ( bus timings).
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND the train from Paris arriving at 6:00 pm in Valognes, with bus transfert at 6:15 pm, arrival at 6:45 pm at the quay of Saint Vaast La Hougues to get the boat of 7:00 pm. For the way back : bus at 08:53 am at the quay of Saint Vaast La Hougues, arrival at Valognes SNCF at 09:25 am to take the train for Paris at 10:00 am (with change of train at Caen).

Accomodation:
The accommodation capacity of the island is limited to 53. The persons first registered will have priority. The registration fees (250 euros) cover the full board at Tatihou.
