Lodging in Caen

The conference grounds (university campus I) is in walking distance from downtown and some hotels can be found there. We invite participants to book early.

We have also booked 150 individual student rooms very close from the conference site. More information on these rooms are available on this page.

Here is a list of two-star hotels located downtown :

• Hôtel du Château
• Hôtel Astrid
• Hôtel du Havre

Three or four-star downtown hotels:

• Best Western Le Dauphin
• Accor Mercure Port de Plaisance (downtown by the Marina).
• Accor Ibis Caen Centre (also by the Marina).

No or one star hotels but very well-centered:

• Hôtel le Bernières.
• Hôtel de l'Univers (close to the Marina).
• Hôtel Courtonne.
• Central Hôtel.

There are other hotels 5mns away by tram from downtown and thus also 5 mns further away from the conference grounds:

• Accor Ibis Styles Caen Rives de l'Orne, which is a recently built three-star hotel close to the train station.
• Bristol Contact Hôtel (also a three-star).
• Hôtel de France Inter-Hôtel (again a three-star).
• Accor Ibis Budget Caen Gare, a two-star by the train station.
• Hôtel de Rouen, by the train station.
